Anyone know who makes the Guardian Model 911-800 add-on remote alarm system. I bought it through JC Whitney, but they could not help . They said it was made in Taiwan. Still having problems with hooking into Keyless remote, that's why I hoped I could get better instructions.

Hey Nam,

Not much on Guardian but check out this lead

www.guardian911security.com

I'm not much familiar with this baby however most work the same way . . . hook-up to door lock motor wires and the reversing polarities will arm disarm.  Some have a "disarm defeat" wire which locks out disarm with door switch but accepts signals from OEM remote.  Did you get wiring diagram with your keyless?

Big Dog; The diagrams that came with the add-on unit aren't very clear. They give four different ways to attach dook lock/unlock wires, some requiring I cut wires etc. This is where I got confused. I tried the hook ups you sent me yesterday with no luck. I'll  try the web page you sent, Thanks.  I've installed alarms before but never had this problem. I see on some units they need to have a learning code for proper operation. Do you think that could be a problem with this unit?
