I have a viper600 esp.  nice alarm but i am tired of the boring red flashing led light.  i want to wire some 5volt leds that i want to wire up to my alarm, but the alarm led wire is only 2 volts.  is there something i can do to make this work?

You can buy a neon LED's that will hook up to the alarm without any modification.  You can buy these at almost any stereo shop.

this is the deal i kinda had an ideal and acted before i thought it out.  i seen a car that had a flashing led with there factory alarm on the door lock.  well i wanted one in my outer door handle.  so i got a spare door handle ffrom the junk yard painted it drilled it fitted it made it look nice,  got the led's but there was a probem with volts.  now i can't find single led's with that low of volts. and if possible would prefer to use the one's i already have
