If you use an Audiovox or DEI or similar with a diesel timer delay, you could set a small delay, then use a pulse before start to engage a trunk release solenoid to pull a choke? I had an ol crimestopper rs that had an output for carbureted cars that would pulse before cranking, and a couple of minutes in would pulse again, to "kick down" the idle. I uset the solenoid to pull on the throttle linkage.

dont forget the spiners rims too. they make them for golf carts so im sure you can find then to fit your size.
