I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado and I need to know how to program the factory installed remote keyless entry.

I appreciate any help that you can give me and the prompt assistance in this matter.

Thank you,

not 100% on this but give it a try. let me know if it works if not i can ask my source at the dealer on monday

To program your remotes do the following with the doors closed and the truck off:

1. Turn the ignition on and off three times (without starting the truck).
2. Press the unlock button on the drivers side door. You should here the locks cycle. If not repeat step one and try the lock button.
3. Press the lock button on the remote. You can program up to four remotes at once.

-------------
bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english

I tried this and the only thing it did was to set off the theft deterrent system (horn honked, lights blinked etc.)  but all I want is for the keyless entry to work on the remote.  Thanks for suggestion #1and if you have any more suggestions (hopefully before Monday) I welcome any and all of those.  Thanks
