I have a Clifford Intelliguard 8000, it says in the manual that it can be set up to remind me if I leave the headlights on, but it needs to be done by the installer.  But I also am the installer and have the install manual, but it doesn't say anything about this anywhere.  Does anyone know how to set this up on the alarm?  I know I can do it with an LED or something, but if the owners manual says it will do it, that seems like the easiest way..  Here is the quote from the manual:

Your IntelliGuard 8000 can be set to issue a warning sound if you shut off the engine and open a door without first turning off the headlights. This feature is factory set to off since most vehicles already have a similar feature. To have this feature set on, please see your installing Authorized Clifford Dealer.

That might be very possible..  I don't think I would want to power the headlights from it without a relay as it would draw too much current, and with a relay it wouldn't see power.  Maybe that channel is on an interlock or something?  The book says it can be done, but doesn't mention anything else about it...
