I have a 96 monte carlo and I have installed a Clifford Matrix RSIII about a year ago now. I used to have problems with the remote by-passing sensor 1 when I would arm the car right after shutting the door. So I usually just wait a few seconds and then arm and no problem. Now, today I did the same thing I have been doing and after about 5 minutes or so of arming the alarm the warning chirps on my remote would go off and the hammer image on my remote would shouw up. I was about 15 to 20 feet away from the car when it happened the first time and there was no warn away chirps on the car itself. Any Ideas?

Try a new sensor.

Also, where do you live? Colder climates are hazardous to those things, and will often need replacement annually.

is the led on the shock sensor suppossed to be on all of the time? or only when armed? or when triggered? Mine is intermitent, with the alarm disarmed I get random flashes from it.
