Hi.

Since the remote was broken, I have been used the key only during last several months. However, recently the alarm rings sometimes. It is not loud, just little sound. but it's too annoying. If I shutdown and start again several times, then it became silent again.

I'm asking the local mechanic to disable the alarm. They told me that I should ask the dealer who attached the alarm. Unfortunately, I don't know where it is. My car is 12 years old :-(

So, is there anyone who know how to make the alarm silent completely?

Drop the bottom of the dash down, find the brain, trace all your wires from the brain and cut'em and tape them up. Chances are, the installer that did the job used T-taps....in that case, unplug em. If your alarm had starter kill, make sure you re-conect this wire after removing the alarm brain. The starter wire is BLACK/ white.

Most likely the factory installed alarm was done by someone at the dealer. They would have used T Taps and probably a T harness for the 12V and iginition and maybe starter kill. You can simply unhook the T-harness and connect the factory harness together.
T harness look like this
