Hello all,
My wifes car has a Clifford Concept 400 in it, and I am looking to remove it, because it was causing intermittent engine shut off problems, and now, the car doesnt start at all. (I tested it, and it has got a short in the ignition switch/starter harness)

She no longer uses the security system, let alone remembers how to arm it, so I am taking it out.

I would like an installation manual so that I can hook everything back up properly.

The vehicle is a 1999 Mazda Protege. On a side note, the installer did a terrible installation job. I have never seen so many wires joined with electrical tape in my entire life. Kind of worries me that someone would do that to Ignition switch and starter wires that carry a lot of amperage.

Does anyone possess, or know where I can get a manual in PDF format? I know my wife would really like me to get her car out of the garage so she can drive it :-)

Thank you so much for uploading the file for me.

Looking at the diagram, I see that there is one wire that goes to the ignition coil. Her Mazda has distributorless ignition, hence, coil packs. I looked at the coil packs, and don't see it connected there, so what other possible places would that wire go?

Again, thanks for all the help.

read on the 99 Protoget link he sent, look for tachometer, there are 2 locations to get this wire.
