I have a 2002 Mazda Tribute with my 6500ESP installed.  I couldn't figure out how to wire the progressive locks.  The OEM system has this feature but it's not the same wires in the GM.  I tested all the wires I could and couldn't find this additional wire.  The primary wire for the locks, only one the Directech.com site shows, only locks and unlocks ALL of the doors with a resistor inline; which I have.  Any ideas how to get this nice feature to work?

Secondly, I have a problem about every 4 months or so.  The darn computer's "No Start" security feature kicks in and leaves the truck totally dead in the water.  The way I've fixed it before is disconnect the battery, reprogram the keys and then all of the other electronics, this sucks.  I have a bypass module, basically a key without a key, installed inline with a relay that cuts this transistor off when you stick a key in.  I think the problem is that intermittently the computer is seeing these as two keys and shuts it down or ???  Any help would be so appreciated.

BTW, awesome site and tons of help!!

Thanks

John

all i can figure out about the progressive lock is that you might want to use like channel 4 doing all door lock and use the regular one to trigger just the driver door. that you have to run wire to the door lock acutator itself. or use the channel the other way around. sounds inconvience but thats all i can think of.

am pretty new at this, hope this help

Well, I can go through the door and it's not bad taking the panel off it's just easier to go to the GEM.  Looks like I'll have to take apart the current setup and do it that way as their isn't much choice.  I did the same for my Mystique.

Thanks for the response!
