I may have a Python 881XP alarm installed but I am not sure if I will lose my perimeter lighting. This is on a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali. I have heard the lighting is controlled by the vehicles computer and some special module is required to keep the option. I assumed it could be controlled by the dome supervision that is available on the alarm but I am not sure.

you can use that or the door trigger isolated...

If you use a GMDL-BP for a bypass module it will turn on the perimeter lighting when the truck is OFF. I don't think it will when it is remote started.
The 457G from DEI will not turn on perimeter lighting at anytime.
