Hi,
I own a sec-8080 unit with the 8401 pager. I was wondering if anyone had an owners manual that I may take a look at. I have looked all over the internet and have found nothing on this system.

Information would greatly be appreciated. My email is biolizard1@yahoo.com

Thanks

Yeah, i was able to access there website before it was down. They did not have any manuals for my system.

I did call their technical services office and they faxed me a paper explaining how to connect the 8401 pager romchip into the 8080 main unit. But that was it. I would like to know how to get the functions on the remote to work for the system.

Thanks

When I called alpine they told me that they no longer had their hands on any more owners manual, so the faxed me the documents they had.

Ok, here is the story:

I recently bought a 94 3000gt. They changed the battery, and it seems that the main unit onboard the car lost connection from the 8401 pager. The security system is already installed, and WAS working. I just want to see if I can reprogram it so that it may function again.

Last week I took it to a mechanic that specializes in alarms, but they said the system was too old, and they did not have sufficient information on how to fix it.

Thanks for your help.

As far as I know the pager came with the system.

Everything worked perfect until the battery was changed, which was a couple of months ago. The keypad does have power, the alarm is working (when you open the door from the inside when the door is locked, the alarm will sound. To turn off, I put the key in the door)

The only thing that is not working is the pager. I dont know how to get the functions to work on the car. I am thinking that I may need to reprogram it.

Thanks alot for your help
