Howzit,

I just installed a scytek lcd alarm into a 90 prelude, basic features only: door trigger, trunk trigger, dome light, starter kill.  The thing is the alarm works but now the speedometer, tachometer and illumination doesn't work.  Also, the clock still works but is only visible if you press the button on it.

Of course, i already checked all the fuses under the dash and hood, all good.

Any ideas ...

Thanks in advance,

Kaipo :)

I checked all the ATC fuses under the dash and hood and i'm just wondering if the car would still power up and run if the ignition fuse was blown? >

I used a dig multi-me to test all the connections made and troubleshooting, also, the car is currently running and the alarm is working.

I looked around all day yesterday for loose connections but i still think it's possible i may have overlooked something.  I'm assuming though, that my connections are ok if the car and alarm are working. What i mean by working is the alarm triggers, starter kill, parking light flash, dome light and programming works and the car starts and functions (parking lights, headlights, radio, turn signals and it drives, etc.)

I'm currently planning on taking it to an electric shop. (Sucks man, my first install failure ... anyways.  I'm sure it won't be the last c**k-up.)

By the way i'm not sure why but the car owner said that the seatbelt lightis opposite ... goes on when the belt is fastened and off when it isn't.  Damn, this car's been chaos, the bad kind of chaos.

:(
