A great product. Not for newbies. Kool thing is that an antenna and TX could be added later if customer's needs change.

The Viper 330V is the same as Hornet 727T. It works great and people love the price.

But i never knew that you can add an antenna and remote?

has anyone ever heard of the alarm going off at random times?

I have a post

It seems that this is a common thing

There is a receiver port on the same side as the Bitwriter port. Plug in an XHF antenna, program a 474 and you're good to go. Obviously this is only if his OEM TX has unsatisfactory range otherwise it defeats the OEM integration.

I always give people the benefit of the doubt but I've never had this happen nor heard it from others in my circle of friends.

I never heard about them going off, but if it does you can find out the cause of it.
The control module will store the last 2 triggers in memory that are not erased when
the ignition is turned on. This can be helpful for trouble shooting false alarm reports.

To access the event history use the following procedure.
1. Turn the ignition switch off and press and hold the Valet® button.
2. While holding the Valet® button turn the ignition On.
3. Release the Valet® button.
4. Within 5-seconds, press and release the Valet® button.
The LED will flash in groups indicating the last two zones reported triggered. For
example, if zone 2 and 3 were the last two zones to be triggered, the LED will flash
two times followed by a pause and then flash three times followed by a pause.
