I have ordered a clifford RSX3.5 and some extra sensors, what i want to know is, when i press arm on the fob i want it to flash the indicator lights, but i understand when i activate remote start it will put these on aswell, but i want it to put the lights on instead, is this possible? Also what do you call parking lights? on my calibra 1997 i am sure it just puts one light on at the front and one on at the back.

Use diodes to flash the indicator lamps .park light output to 2 diodes one left indicator the other to the right indicator.Parking lights are the lights that come on when you turn the first click of your headlamp switchMost eroupean cars carry seperate parklight markers.

Like you said, if you simply connect the parking light output from the alarm to the turn indicators, then the indicators will will probably be flashing the entire time the remote start is running----annoying.

If you are creative, and handy with relays and finding wires in the car and whatnot, here is what I would do.

--Connect the parking light output to the car's parking lights, as normal.

--Connect the "factory disarm" and "factory re-arm" wires so that they trigger the turn indicators.

--When the remote start is running, you'll just have parking lights.

--When you lock or unlock the car, the bright turn indicators will flash.

so i would do it this way?

H1/2 White wire it to my parking lights.

H2/4 GREEN / WHITE wire to a relay and then onto the turn indicators

H2/6 GREEN/ Black wire to a relay and then onto the turn indicators

hey Chris, why not just change the parking lights from flashing to constant in the programming?

i never let a unit go out of here with the p lights set to flashing... i program them all for constant
