ok, so the problem... before i hooked up the alarm, i had no issues with locks whatsoever, they both locked and unlocked together with the key, or the button inside (and i think when i flipped the manual switch... i cant remember)

i hooked up the alarm, and everything worked perfect, i was very happy, probobly turned it on and off a dozen times the first day, the second night i disarmed the car, and grabbed at the handle... and strangely... it was still locked...

so i armed and re disarmed, it worked. and it continued to work fine a couple more times... but now (day 3) it pretty much never works, and i actually noticed that using the key only unlocks the door you use it on, and pressing the button on the door, only occasionally works, and sometimes when it does, it reverses itself (if you lock while running it unlocks a few seconds later)

its really really weird

its a negative trigger, so i doubt its a hazard of any kind, just a really bad annoyance, so im gonna probobly fix it monday... but what could have caused it? could it be perminant? could it be a bad ground? should negative triger door locks have blocking diodes on them (when theres only the door locks (non progressive), and the alarm on the circuit), could my alarm be defective, or broken somehow, could setting the door unlocks to the wrong length of time cause this? i dont think the last one is it... but this is kinda stumping me... i might even look at it earlier than monday just because its bothering me so much

also if it matters any, i used the wires in drivers kick, for locks, color specs above tell either kick

i havent done a supra, but if its like a toyota camry that i just did, the unlock stopped working for me due to child safety. I had to hook up another wire for unlock to work all the time.
Unlock your door then press the LOCK button on your keyless remote to see if the function still work.
If anything, try giving the factory alarm disarm wire a pulse when you do unlock.
FACTORY ALARM DISARM        PURPLE / YELLOW (-)        IN EITHER KICK PANEL
Im reading through some old post, and im reading that maybe factory alarm disarm test the same as the child safety wire, but it should get the job done.

hrmm... ok, that was one of my next questions... is factory disable always a pulse (car side)? or do some need constant, in either case, this one is pulse?

factory disarm wire only needs one pulse

i still havn't had time to mess with it, one more question that might make the repair easier... could the supra need a double pulse, or diffrent length pulse? im hoping to have time this weekend to fix whatever it is, but that i could probobly program way before then

Try grounding the factory alarm disarm wire and see if the problem goes away. Should take a few minutes to test. Just remove kick and ground the Factory Alarm Disarm      purple / YELLOW       -       either kick panel
