installed a 553t on a 1997 chevy 2500 van. whenm remote start is used, the van has 3rd gear only. when started by ignition, van shifts fine. does anyone have any suggestions?

that van has a second ignition it should be whie or pink\white at the igntion switch harness if it is not hooked up the vehicles transmission will not work properly you may also have to reset the vehiclies comp to do this disconnect the batt ground for about 15 min
