Hello to all i am installing a hornet 564t and i am having some confusion when it comes to the door lock/unlock. i have the wiring diagram but under the polarity section instead of saying positive or negative it says 5wi i do not know what this means. i am also using the second unlock feature that the alarm includes the second unlock is negative with 200mA (does that mean i need a relay). i know in order to achive this i need to sepreate the driver door unlock from the rest but i am confused with the polarity situation if anybody can help me i really appreciate it and thanks for the help by the way the truck is a 2007f350(same wirng as 2006) with factory keyless entry

The next question that will be asked is: How do I wake up the BCM.

If the BCM goes to sleep, you will need to "wake it up" so the door locks will work. Use the drivers door pin wire. Wire a standard relay like so.

86 12v

85 factory alarm disarm, from your R/S NEG(-)

87a one half of the door pin wire

30 the other half of the door pin wire

When you hit unlock on your transmitter, the disarm wire will pulse the relay, and "open" the wire, the truck will think the door is opened and wake up the BCM, and the locks will work!

hey thanks alot to all i appreciate the help i will try this out as soon as possible one quick i have for KarTuneMan in the BCM the 85 on the relay is which wire im confused with factory alarm disarm do you know the color or location thanks alot again i appreciate all your help.

hello it is me again dea,can i have one question for you. the diagram you provided me is that how to wire the unlock/lock for the entire car or is that for just the driver door in order to seperate it from the other door locks once again thanks

u have keyless entry or no keyless entry

Pin 85 is triggered with the NEG(-) output from your alarm (the after market unit)
