I have a 94 T-Bird with Viper Alarm installed when car was new. How do I disable the flashing circuit to prevent the park lights from staying on when alarm is armed. I have to activate and deactivate alarm numerous times until I can get lights to go off. I then have to go into valet mode to be able to start car. Is the alarm wired to the flasher circuit or does it have it's own flasher circuit wired directly to the park lights? Please help!, dead batteries aren't fun. Thanks
Sounds like you may have a CPU malfunction. The parking light circuit is supposed to flash once when armed and twice when disarmed. You may find a fuse on the parking light wire of the alarm that you can take out, but this will eliminate the parking lights confirmation flashes from the alarm system. What model number Viper do you have? Should be able to get a wire color for you so you can pull the proper fuse out of the harness.

Thank's for the quick response Jeff. I don't know the model number of the Viper at this time because I can't find where the installer placed it . Under dash access is very tight. I guess I'll have to get a wrecking ball and get down to business. Any Ideas on where it might be hidden? Is there any place where I can find a wiring schematic for the alarm once I can identify it? Thanks again.
- Check the driver side dash ( high under the dash on the left side )
- Check behind the glove box
- look for the LED light and trace it back to the CPU
- The normal color for the parking lights for DEI products is WHITE. Hopefully there is a fuse attached to this and if there are no fuses then you will have to cut this connection
