ok i need some help ......i have two modules i want one for roll-up when the syatem is armed .....ok i have a Neg. armed output but the modules need 500 ma. for activation........ if i use a relay and wire as follows will it work

term. 87 & 86 ----fused power

term. 85 ------(-) output from alarm

term. 30------To module

Correct?

now for the other module i want it wired to one of my Ext. outputs there specs are as follows....

EXT 1 Output (1Second or Latched [Negative]) : 0.2A
EXT 2 Output (1Second or Latched [Negative]) : 0.2A
EXT 3 Output (Continuous or 1Second [Negative]) : 0.2A

how would u wire them ? do i need another relay?what ext output would u use? what should i set the output to?(1sec. ,latched, or continuous)

Also these are going into an 88 Mustang what wires should i use ?

The wireing for the modules is as follows...

Red- +12v

black- Ground

Orange- 500ma. Activation

pink- to Acc. item (output)

Green-left motor

white - Left switch

blue-Right motor

Brown- Right switch

I know im asking for alot but this is the last thing im hooking to this alarm install i wanna make sure its right.......i already have use 5 relays for different things i have hooked up and im surprised but they all work !!!!! but i wanna be sure with these modules i dont wanna burn em up....thanx for ur time

Use this diagram for the relay of the ARMED OUTPUT wire: Negative to Negative Relay Diagram

The power window modules require a (-) activation through the ORANGE wire. If you are using the EXT wire for up or down have the alarm set to continuous. The modules will automatically shut power off to the windows when it detects a voltage spike in the wires.

Here are the wire colors for the windows:

|  LF WINDOW UP/DN|wht/blk - yellow    |A  |in drivers door             |
|  RF WINDOW UP/DN|wht/yel - tan/blu   |A  |in drivers door or dkp      |
|  LR WINDOW UP/DN|yel/blu - RED / blu   |A  |in drivers door or dkp      |
|  RR WINDOW UP/DN|yel/blk - RED / blk   |A  |in drivers door or dkp      |

are you sure that mine are (-) input ...just checkin b/c i figured it says 500Mamps means it needs +voltage to activatethem.....ok i can use the continuous output ....but what does it mean in my manual where it says they can be programed for latched outputs....... if i was going to use one to pop my hatch i would just use the 1sec. output correct.......Thanx for all ur time

ok now im looking at the diagram of that relay and i dont get it .......my alarm has neg.outputs why would i add the relay isnt that doing the same thing my alarm is......maybe im wrong but if i should do it that way i will .....just checking if i have to do it that way or your telling me to do it that way for protection.......b/c under my dash i dont think im going to have anymore room i have 5 relays already.....1 alarm and two modules there isnt enough firewall to mount it all ....lol

well let me know what you think my best bet isw/ these modules ...

I am pretty sure that the 500 ma is for a (-) input because these modules for made for the most common type of window systems which is a ground activated type A system. Here is what each of the functions refer to :

LATCHED: The wire will have current on it when you press the EXT button on the remote and will continue to have current on it until you press the EXT button again to release the latching current.

PULSED: Gives a 1 second pulsed signal

CONTINUOUS: This will give a contiuous signal to the wire. This wire is reset after arming and disarming of the system.

The relay diagram I have above is for a negative signal booster, incase the 200 or 500 mA isn't going to be enough ( or strong enough ) of a signal to engage the modules. Use this only if you have everything installed and nothing happens when you press the EXT button on the remote. You can extend the wires for the module and mount in behind the radio between the foot well of the driver and the passenger.

thanx for the hints.......ok then i think i should be fine if i hook all this up w/ the relays and all and nothing happens do you think it would hurt to supply 12v fused power to the activation wire incase it is a 12v activated module? i think i'll contact the shop i got it from first though to be sure ....they have to know , i would hope ...thanx for your time
