Does anyone have any idea why GM did not allow the lights or horn to chirp with the unlock button? Only double lock does the horn chirp. Gets kinda annoying thinking you have unlocked the vehcile only to find out you haven't.

It's only chirping to warn people in the vacinity of your vehicle that you have an alarm and you just armed it. If you were to pull into an area that is kinda run down and a gang of kids are eyeballing your ride then the ability to toot the horn may deter them from messing with it. On the other hand if your leaving for work early in the morning and you live in the city, the neighbors may not want to be woken up everytime you get in your car to leave. I'm guessing that's why the horn doesn't blow during every press of the keyless remote.

Ok say i want to make the lights flash and the horn chirp. How would I go about doing this? I did not find a keyless entry diagram on the site only alarm, cruise and stereo. I am not new to doing this kinda thing, but I am new to keyless entry. So any help would be helpful. Thank you.
