I have a 95 Grand Cherokee, to disable the factory alarm it requires a negitive PULSE, problem im having is my RS unit only puts out a constant negitive feed when it is running off the RS unit, meaning I have to hit the unlock button to disable the factory alarm, then hit start, then lock the doors again, I want to be able to have the RS unit disable the alarm with a negitive pulse, and not constant, and then start the truck without having to unlock the doors then lock them again.. in summary I need to change a constant negitive feed into a one time pulse feed, how would I do this?? any help is greatly appreciated.. thanks again ------------- 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 1 12" JL12W3, Kenwood Excelon KAC210 Amp, Boston Highs, Sony Head Unit, DVD, TV, Playstation

What RS unit do you have ? Normally I would use the GROUND OUT WHEN RUNNING wire to send a (-) ground to the security system while in remote start mode. The only draw back is that the alarm system will be disabled while remote started, but this is only while in remote start mode. Once you take over the vehicle the system acts like normal again.

i have a Omega RS unit, not sure of the model number, but i want the factory alarm disarmed while the rs unit it running the truck, i dont want the negitive feed hooked directly to the disarm wire because the RS unit gives a negitive feed the entire time the RS unit is running the truck, the truck only needs a negitive pulse to disable the alarm, if it is getting a constant negitive feed then im not sure it will mess up the factory alarm, plus when you disarm the alarm with the disarm wire it only requires a negitive pulse and then the interior lights come on, if i were to hook that up to a constant feed then the light will stay on and it will have the alram getting a constant negitive feed, when it needs just a pulse, im afraid that this will mess up the factory alarm. hope that makes sence im trying to explain this the best I can and im not making sence ------------- 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 1 12" JL12W3, Kenwood Excelon KAC210 Amp, Boston Highs, Sony Head Unit, DVD, TV, Playstation

Okay I found this (Scroll Down), only question I have is this is for a 12v positive setup, im using a negitive setup, now based on this diagram, I should simply ground the #87 terminal and hook the #30 terminal up to the disarm wire of the factory alarm, I understand that, question is there is a constant ground output from the RS unit, how would I hook that up with the capacitor, resistor and diode? because if I were to hook it up like shown change only the #30 and #87 terminal's then it wouldn't work because the input wouldn't pass threw the diode, and it would also backfeed into the RS unit from the capacitor.. thats if im understanding this correctly, long story short if someone knows how to do this then please reply, as I have all the componets and plan to do this tomorrow, thanks for everything Bobby
