This ones got us stumped.

Installed 2wss in a Ford F350, 2003 diesel.

Alarm, has Shock Sensor, Parimiter, and Piezo sensors.

Problems that have been progressively getting worse.

1. Remote does not always communicate with alarm. Replaced batteries problem still happens, seems to happen less often with new batteries, however when the remote shows half a battery strenght left the remote generally will not communicate.

2. Alarm will go off for no reason, remote shows knock senor reading.

3. Driving and the alarm will arm itself got no reason.

4. Today I could not get the alarm to disarm. Ended up opening the hood and cutting the siren wires and then went into trying diagnostics. Tryed reseting the remote to the alarm, (turning the ignition on/off 5 times) Did not work. After about five minutes the alarm started working fine.

Any dignostics you guys can recommend before we send it back.
Thanks

On this truck, the BCM "goes to sleep" How are you waking it up? The drivers door pin is usually pulsed prior to unlock. With the compustar use the "disarm factory security" wire. Use a relay, cut the door pin wire, one half to pin87a, the other to pin 30. 12v to pin 86, and the disarm wire to pin 85. This will do the trick.

The door pins need to be isolated, this is a common problem with "false triggers"

Wait for more input from some other members.....thats all I got bro!posted_image
