Trying to install RS.  Do I need to hook up "neutral safety input"?  If so, where?

The viper 791 comes with a toggle switch with two wires on the back, ground one wire and hook the other wire up to the neutral safety wire

I would have to guess that less than 1% of installs have the neutral safety wire of the car tied into the remote start. Hook the wire up to one wire of the switch, hook the other wire up to ground. If switch is ON remote start will work, if switch is OFF it won't. Its that simple.

If you have a manual transmission...things change. Then you would want to tie into the neutral sensing wire at the ECU.

This will be his next question...."where is the neutral sensing wire?"

Very few Altima's are manual transmissions. I wasn't going to go into details unless he needs the info.
