I am new to this forum and have been reading alot of posts and it has helped alot already. I am installing a CrimeStopper CS 2011 RS (alarm and remote start) on 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan. It does not have the transponder in ignition and there is no factory security system on it. bone stock. I went and purchased relays and resistors and just wanted some help. I install commercial security and residential and have installed very few car alarms but i am confident i understand enough to do it. Do I actually cut the wires at the connector (bcm) and splice my wires there?  I was going to splice all my wires there and also at the ignition and use the  light for my trigger and hook up relay at each door wire at the bcm. Also i was told i need a relay at the ignition for remote start. Im just not sure how exactly to wire everything up. Im not sure exactly how each relay is supposed to be wired and also I im not totally sure exactly were and how the resistors will go. which ones will be series or parallel? Can anyone give me some detailed information on how everything is supposed to go. Like a detailed diagram of WERE and HOW the relays will wire up. Also WERE and HOW the resistors will wire up and there location and ohms. I have searched under this but i get such a wide range of information that its hard to tell which way is the correct way to do this. I want to make sure i do it the exact way im supposed to for my particular situation. Again its 03 grand caravan 3.3L (no transponder) no oem security; does not have automatic doors; will be using the CrimeStopper CS 2011 RS ( which comes with one relay and plug prewired???).

Any help would be great. Thanks

You can't use the shown method. Diodes add up to 500 ohms resitance to the circuit. You MUST always use a relay and resitor for Chrysler vehicles. If you don't, the vehicle won't work properly at times or do strange things. I have seen it many times. The only exception for not using an outboard relay is if the unit has them built in. Tranisitorized outputs don't give a proper ground output. See message to you Robbie for more details.
