We're planning to install remote starter for my 98 ford windstar. And I need advice on what kind of brand that is not too expensive (no more than 100 dollars) but somewhat reliable and it doesn't have to be long range kind. Do I need to buy more stuff (other than the remote starter) to make it work with my car? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

i had a 1998 windstar gl and put a valet 561r in it from circuit city for 60bux. The windstar for that year had no chip key so that is not a problem. It does have two ignitions and two accessories. If you have the rear air conditioning. You may need an extra relay or two.

Good Luck pm if you have further questions. easy car to work on for a first experience.
