i have a 06 ford freestar cargo work van, it has factory keyless entry but does not lock when i turn the igntion is turned on nor does it unlock when i turn off the ignition. is it possible to wires something up so that it will do this without buying an aftermarket alarm?

look in the owners manual it should tell there. i know the exploer for 06 has the option for the two.

The 06 Freestar is a simple - type lock system you can do what your wanting to do with a couple of bosh realy's wired to the ing switch. but to me it would be worth the few extra bux to go on and put a keyless entry unit and have the full advantage.
