Some friends and including me have Viper 474v and Viper 479V remotes that doesnt send.

I have 3 474v remotes that when pressing the button, the green LED lights up as if it is working. But i know for a fact that it doesnt send
(b/c i go into programming mode and i dont get the comfirmation chirp that i get when i program a remote, its not antenna because i can program a Brand New remote fine.)

The 479v remote lights up perfectly and plays the song at the beggining. But it doesnt send either. (tested it 100times to be sure)

These remotes are about 1 year old. And they werent abused or anything.

Common problem?
Any way to fix it?

What brain are you programming them to? Yes, I've had 479's that were unable to program and had to be replaced.

I also have 790xv brain and 479 will work but the 474 is not compatible with it.

I know its the remote for a fact. I tested it 100x to comfirm this.

did you just discard the remote or what?

No I paid $25 plus my old one in exchange for a new one from the Directed dealer. This was because I installed it myself. Now my remotes are covered under warranty because I DID purchase my replacement from the dealer and have had it replaced again since at no charge. I don't imagine they had to offer me it at $25 and accept my old one as a $75 credit towards the new replacement but at the time this was what they did. I was fine with that knowing that replacements go for at least $75 on ebay with no warranty.
