Hi,
Im from Canada (Montreal) and currently Im searching a car alarm with remote starter that is compatible with suzuki grand vitara 2006 with smartpass.
this smartpass allows to unlock the car door by being close to the car and with carrying a fob (you just have to press a button on the doot. Then, when inside, you just have to turn a button to start the car).
Can you please help me find a compatible car alarm ?

Easy car overall.
Do a search on the carsound.com security forum for technical information.
You want alarm AND remote start? That adds a bit of complexity, but it's do-able.
Two options:
1. (Simple and easy) Install a combination alarm/remote starter. Don't press the buttons on the original remotes, or you'll set the alarm off.
2. (More difficult, but better) Install two separate products.........a "keyless upgrade" alarm, the type that operates off the factory remotes..............and a separate remote starter.
The remote starter could be the type that is activated from the factory remote, or from a separate remote for better range.
---I install Audiovox for a living so that's what I'm used to, but you don't need any special brand of unit just because you have a Suzuki; get whatever you want.
