i work in car audio and im stumped, i need help now before i cant get my car started cause battery is dead tomorrow.

heres what ive got, python 700 2 way alarm, juiced up to the max. 6 sirens backup battery, microwave sensor, trunk and hood sensors and a couple of added 2 way shock sensors... obviously starterkill

I was at the bar, i come outside it unlocked normally everything was good, interior light came on but as soon as I go to start it, it starts, but the alarm just starts going off... normally any alarm shuts off after 30 seconds but this went on for a good 10 minutes before i finally gave in, chopped my sirens off.

what im thinking is that the backup battery has been tipped off and it wont stop. now. the car starts, still has starter kill which is working, pager still goes off if shock sensor is tipped, door sensors and hood and trunk are tipped. so the alarm still functions like normal, but just keeps going off... I tried all the old tricks, holding vallet, hitting vallet a million times on the on position, even going on off on off on off 5 times. NOTHING, sirens still going off. I need this fixed asap before it drains my battery and i wont make it to school or work tomorrow, help.

Two possiblities.

1. A fuse is blown somewhere, causing the backup battery to "think" that someone has cut the car's battery cables in an attempt to steal it.........I think (but am not sure) that might cause the sirens to come on.

2. Did you connect all six sirens directly to the alarm's siren output?

That will usually cause all of the magic smoke to be released from the alarm brain..........and as we all know, magic smoke is crucial to the operation of the alarm, right? I mean, once the smoke comes out it stops working, so that must be it.........maybe you could buy some more smoke.

Anyway, seriously, with the sirens disconnected from the alarm, test the alarm's siren output for proper function........if it is stuck on a steady positive, there you go, brain is probably bad.

Look at what your LED is telling you.
Im pretty sure its blinking sets of one.
Meaning instant trigger is setting it off. (whatever you connected to the blue wire of the alarm, most likely your back up battery)

If its not blinking once, look at your install manual to tell you what zone is causing it.
