I would like the 2006 xa & 2007 tc wiring for remote start and alarm.
Particularly astrochart or firstech (or whatever compustar is called) (i have bulldog and directechs already)
I ask this because i recently did alarm with remote start on XA that previously had an aftermarket keyless entry installed. But the previous installer (not me) used a diffrent unlock wire, door trigger, parking light than the one listed at bulldog and directechs.
(I am having problem with unlock listed at directechs, its not working 100% of the time)
I used the unlock wire (requiring 2 pulse) that directechs says. (not the unknown unlock wire that previous installer had)

BROWN / yellow, lock blue / YELLOW, unlock both in the drivers kick in a plug This is wiremagic. for the XA the TC is lock green, unlock is purple. 20 pin plug in the drivers kick. The astro doesn't have a TC, but it shows the same as wiremajic for the XA. -------------

2006 XA Viper 550esp
POWER UNLOCK BLUE / YELLOW to YELLOW/BLACK (TYPE B) See NOTE *1 @ 14-PIN PLUG, DRIVER KICK PANEL NOTE *1 TEST the LOCK and UNLOCK wires while turning the key in the DRIVERS DOOR KEY CYLINDER, the UNLOCK requires a DOUBLE PULSE Output.
When trying to test for the unlock wire, the wire showed ground all the time.
I used the dmm (changed it to read current on mA scalre, since protected by 5amp fuse) to safely send 2 ground pulses to the wire suspected of being unlock and it worked, so i connected the unlock wire to it.
Before returning the car, it works perfectly and the customer sees that everything is working.
Later, i get a call saying the the unlock doesnt work 100% of the time. like 30%.
solid connection between unlock wire and car unlock wire of alarm shows ground when unlocking
Any idea to what the problem could be?

Since you had trouble testing it........you might have the rocker-switch unlock wire, rather than the key-cylinder unlock wire.
Try these two tests: (open the driver's window first)
1. Close ALL doors, lock car WITH THE KEY from the outside.......and try to unlock using the aftermarket alarm.
2. Lock the doors any way you want. Reach in through the open window, manually unlock the driver's door by hand, and then try to unlock using the aftermarket remote.
If it won't work under condition 1, but it will work under condition 2.......you've got the unlock-switch wire. The unlock-switch wire goes to sleep when the car is properly locked, which is why the aftermarket isn't unlocking either.

Lets say that the wire i am currently using is wrong (blue / YELLOW, unlock). What other wire am i suppose to be using?
The wires next to the lock wire doesnt show a pulse during the unlock (turning key in door). And there is wires that show ground all the time.
