has anyone out there installed an alarm into a 2006 Kia Optima??? If so any problems? There are no wiring diagrams on this car that I could find. Thanks!

All the Kias are just rebadged and restyled Hyundais now.

I forget what the Optima is.......it's either an Elantra or a Sonata......I think it's a Sonata.

Anyway, pull up the wiring diagram for the equivalent Hyundai, and it should at least get you pretty close.

thanks for the suggestions. The sonati, and the optima look very similiar, but.... are very different under the dash. wire colors, and locations. I did not have the time to do the car today. I will be getting back on Monday so I can have a full day on it.

I believe the 05 and 06 are the same....NOT SURE. heres an 05. The 07 is WAY diff.
