I know that most car alarms are manufactured by the same company, but would the Viper 791xv be as good as the Clifford Avantguard 5 if it had all of the same goodies installed on it? (2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE)

go with the AVG 5.5X   and be done with it.....  all the features of the AVG 5 + 2 way LCD remote and 1 mile range....
