See if you can find a diagram for a Caprice or Roadmaster Estate, as the Custom Cruiser wasn't quite as popular.
If you go to www.impalassforum.com, somewhere in their tech section, there's a list of wire colors.
I have an all-black '94 Caprice, dressed up as an Impala SS with chrome wheels, tinted windows.........I put my alarm/starter combo in mine....... the tech information for these cars is accurate, but not too detailed.
I will tell you what I remember, from doing my car:
--The constant/ignition/start/accessory wires are all right there under the dash and are easy to find.
Don't bother connecting the thick brown accessory wire when you're doing remote start.....it just powers up the radio and wipers, and you don't want those items on during remote start anyway.
--The brake wire (white) also runs into the steering column.....far easier and simpler to get it there, along with your ignition wires, instead of separately.
--There's all kinds of brown wires here and there under the dash.......test them, and you'll find parking lights somewhere.....no need to go disassembing the dash to get to the back of the light switch.
--I think you'll have to remove the driver's door sill and kick panel to get to the lock wires, but that isn't hard.
While you're there, you can easily access the backside of the driver's door pinswitch...... I think it's the white wire that catches all four doors.

Thanks...I got the diagram and all installed but the parkers dont flash when starting.I hooked up the brown wire to the brown wire it said to hook it up to and double checked all my connections and still nothing.I probed the wire while doing the test and it showed no power but when i turn the parkers on manually i get power and parkers. Also this is a bulldog rs114 system and it worked fine when it was in my caravan.Am i suppose to get power to the brown wire when the remote start is activated? Thanks

I'm having trouble understanding what you are saying.
Before making your connection, did you test the wire in the car, and verify that it shows positive power when the parking lights are on?
What are you using for testing wires?
Also, what year Caravan did you pull this out of?
I'm not familiar with all of the Bulldog products, but many of them only offer a parking light output that puts out a ground......for the Oldsmobile, you'll need to wire up a relay to convert this to put out positive power.

I just checked the brown wire again for positive and negative. When i check for negative it lights up green and when i turn on the parkers it lights up red.Does this sound like i need to hook this up as a negative?
