Last week i had to turn a customer away because i didn't have the proper info to install thier car starter. the car was a 2006 audi a6. i have info from astroflex, directed and autostart. i contacted all of their tech lines and no one had the information avalible. for future reference, does any one know where i could get the info from. thanks

You probably did yourself a favor without really knowing it. If you didn't have the info you also probably didn't have the module to do it either.

Search for a 2006 Audi A6 and you will see 2 modules listed.
Download the instructions for the modules they list. After you read them, you will be glad you turned the job away. The parts are very expensive. Lets just say...try to imagine your customer's reaction when you tell him it will cost over $1000 to have a remote starter put in their car.
