I've checked these up on the net and they look identical and the manual is identical also.  I've read posts here and many people have said they are identical.

So now I am wondering if the programming and firmware or software on all these are the same?  Do they all have the same range and quality all the same?  Warranty, I can't find any information on warranty for any of them, the website and manual does not say how long is the warranty.

If anybody have had experience with any of them with warranty, like sending it back, can you tell me how good their service is and how long you wait to have them repair like let's say the remote that broke?  Do they send you a new one?

I am considering either one of these, and was wondering if I should purchase them on the net, since it's MUCH cheaper!  But I was wondering the warranty, I don't send it back to the dealer do I?  I have to send back to manufacture right?

I thought I responded to this, but I guess it didn't make it through.

I work with the Commando units and they offer a 1 year warranty.  If there is a problem with the unit or the transmitter that is under warranty you have to ship the unit back to them befor ethey can send you a new one, but that is pretty standard.  Commando handles all warranty issues so you do not deal with the manufacturer at all.  Like securinu said, I have yet to send a unit back.
