I have a 2002 Mustang, 5 speed, V8.
I would like to install an alarm/starter on it.
I had a Viper 791 on my last car (Automatic) that I removed, because it worked perfect and I thought I would install it on the Mustang. However the car I bought is a manual.
I would like something as good of quality as the 791 but made for standard trannys.
Any suggestions?
How do the alarm/starters work with manuals. I've never installed one on a manual before.

I've heard compustar 2wss-as to be a very good alarm, if not the best, for RS that works with 5-speed. Do a search here and google, there are quite a few DIY guide on it.

Thanks for the info.
I was doing some searching and came across a device. 688M or 689M interface.
Is anyone here familiar with it? I am having trouble finding any more info on them. Where can I get more info on them, where can I buy one?
