I am planning out the installation of a CS2016DPFM remote start alarm system on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee and I notice as I was going through the wiring instruction there is a wire for OEM Disarm output.  As almost all of you know this will disable the factory anti-theft system.  Now I also have a OAF-20 module, this is supposed to be the transponder unit to bypass the Anti-theft system. This sounds like the same thing as the disarm wire, but I don't know if i should or can connect both, or one or the other.

The transponder bypass does NOT controll the factory security. This simulates a key in the ignition.

FACTORY DISARM Purple / YELLOW In driver's kickpanel   -

Trigger this wire with the output from your CS unit. "factory disarm" You need to "do" both!

The only other thing that I am curious about is the doom light wire. Location/color?

I appreciate it, but I think the wiring chart needs to be updated. I'll keep on top of it and let ya know.

One other thing this alarm supports positive and negitive door lock triggers.  They provide diodes for this. The jeep that I am working on is negitive trigger and i don't think i need to use relays.  Does this seem right?

Your door locks are NEG(-) if you have built in relays wire them for negative.
