I installed an Omega Mars-22 with a DB-JDL3 on a 2004 Grand Cherokee and hooked everything up but the data wire which was supposed to hooked up last.  When I hooked up data wire I got three horn chirps right away without turning key on. When I turned key on I didn't get any horn chirps. When I remote start car won't stay running and transponder light flashes. If I just put a key in and remote start it will stay running even if I pull key out. The door locks work.

Defective unit or are programming instructions wrong? All the other bypass unit say you need two keys and you need to program unit.

Never mind. Found out this unit doesn't do transponder bypass. Guy sent me wrong one.
