I installed a CS remote starter and keyless entry system in this vehicle. I am having problems with the trunk pop, I thought it was a pink/blu (-) wire in passenger kick, but I just found out there may be two wire the same color in the same area. I also could not get car to remote start. I wanted to know if there is more than one ignition wire. I have the by-pass (556U) but vehicle just cranks, but no turn-over. Where do you place the loop from bypass. I just removed the cover that goes around ingnition switch, but there was another black cover by the switch..I did not move.  I read some post that was concerned about steering wheel memory and I wanted to know if I could use the keysense wire from bypass.

I use a thinner wire instead of the wire that they give you on those modules. Ones out of the telephone cable works great and then you can thread the wire through barrel alot easier .

Thanks for the replies, I have not done two many by-pass as of yet, so can you explain what you mean by barrel. I was just putting the loop around the front of ign switch near the iluminating ring. I did notice no dash light were coming on while it was attempting to start, but when I was moving the loop around to see if it would start, I would get all the dash lights, however it still did not start. As far as the trunk release wire, are you telling me that it can not be triggered by a neg pulse? I did not see a WHITE/ black wire, but I will look for it when I get car back.

Update: I got the car to remote start and the trunk to pop. The lesson learned is to test the wires if things are not going as planned. This car also has two ignition wires, not one as the source says. Ignition #1 - BLACK / YELLOW, Ignition # 2 - yellow, Accessory - WHITE/ red. The pink/blue(-) trunk release wire needs a relay to be able to trigger the trunk release. The domelights work with the lock/unlock function as I did not have to wire domelight supervision. I read a few post that said you will need to hook up the keysense wire in order for the power steering wheel to move up/down when the key was removed/inserted after the car was remote started. I did not hook up this wire and the steering wheel was working as it should, however I would not be suprised if customer comes back. I was told this car had a hood trigger wire and I was wondering if someone knew the color and location of that wire.
