I have a golf gti vr6 97...I am buying an alarm with the starter and I want to get around the manual transmission. I need to push on the clutch to start the car...I would like to bypass the clutch and be able to have some device to make sure the car does not start when it is not in neutral...thanks guys

I worked on the 1997 GTI's before and I never had to bypass the clutch on these for the RS that I installed ? USE A MANUAL SAFE system on these vehicles otherwise I hope you have good insurance.
