I followed all the instrcutions and even found a post on it and I still can not get the remote to work.

Here are the steps I am following prior to reading the post.

1.  Key on-off-on-off-on

2.  push and hold program button, park lights turn on

3.  continue holding, park lights turn off/5 quick chirps (i do not have mega phone hooked up)

4.  While still holding the program button push the #1 button on the remote and make sure the # icon is not displayed

After reading the post, I went bake and made sure that the unit was not in valet mode.  It was not so I continued again.  Still no worky.  I also have the 1way remote that came with the system and I can not figure out how to program it.  Any help would be appreciated.  BTW this is the 2nd remote in the 2 years I have had the system, I broke the first one.  What is the chance that this remote is broken, it seems to be functioning, it was working, but just stopped one day?
