I plan on wiring my aftermarket door lock actuators using the OEM relays. They are wired like this:
Rather than adding additional switches to actuate the door locks from the inside I would like to use the sliders in the doors.
The actuators have built in toggle switches which I would like to use to actuate the OEM relays. The problem is that these toggle switches will create a continuous signal to the relay....which is obviously not good. I was thinking if I could use the second toggle switch on the other side to deactivate that signal.....but at that point my brain starts to smoke ;-)
Ideally the signal would only be cancelled 0.5sec after the signal to complete the stroke of the actuator.
The truck is a 2005 Sierra base model without the door modules.

I have some actuators that look like this:
along with the relay in that picture.
Since I would like to use the auto lock/unlock feature AND want the install to look like OEM I would prefer to use the OEM relays.
