I have a rattler 310D alarm installed on Hyundai elentra. The windshield was broken by someone last saturday nite, and I was out. I found out when I was back on monday. I can unlock/lock my car door with remote. But, when I tried to start my car, the alarm light blinking and then siren, so I stopped it with remote. When I tried to start again, same thing happened, I stopped it with valet button. Now, the alarm light and siren will not blink or sound when I try to start, but the car still won't start. It seem like i can't crank to start the engine......what should I do now?

Disarming the alarm should have allowed for you to start the car (disable starter relay)
But since it didnt,Remove the ground from the rattler 310D so that the starter relay is disabled.
Starter Kill relay should be the only thing disabling the car.
Check your car battery.
Sucks to hear you got your car broken into, hope they didnt jack anything.

Did they get into the car or only break the window?

After I remove the ground from alarm system, should I reconnect it after I try to start engine? or you want me to disconnect, and then connect before I try to start engine? Thank you very much.

remove the ground and see if you can start your engine. If this fixes the problem, then the alarm is giving the 'ground when armed wire' ground all the time. usually the brain resets when you turn ignition on then off. ------------- Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.
