i have a 94 isuzu pup, and have installed an alarm with remote start made by phonics digital .the remote start was a sucsess but will only run for a short while. when i remote start the starter stays engaged for as long as it runs   any suggestions

It sounds like the unit either isn't receiving a tach signal or you haven't programmed the tach signal to the remote starter. I am not famaliar with your unit, but many units are designed to crank the engine for 8 seconds or so and quit or until the remote starter senses that the engine has reached the correct RPM and then it will disengage the starter. You could also have some of the wires mixed up. You could have reversed the ignition and starter wires. Post your model of Isuzu to let members help you more effectively.
