What kind of alarm is it?

Some alarms have a dedicated wire specifically for horn output. On some DEI alarms this wire is light brown and is on the secondary harness. Usually a low voltage(200mA) negative trigger.

No, some alarms don't have a wire for the horn output. If you have the install manual it should tell you. Just look at your wiring diagram and check for a horn output wire.

Not personally familiar with freedom, but if they have website it should tell you. Otherwise, I don't know. Someone else might need to add some knowledge that I don't have.

if you dont have a horn output you can connect it with a relay. take you signal going to your siren and make that your switch at the relay that way when you get your signal from the alarm you can supply 12 v to the horn ( i cant remember wich prong is wich on the relay maybe someone else here can tell you) but basicaly what your going to do is grab 12v constant and hook it up to the relay that way when the relay gets the signal from your alarm it sends out 12v to your horn if you want it momentary you can get a two prong flasher and hook it up between the relay and the horn.

hope that helps

You can also use the parking light output from the alarm using a relay to convert the output from positive to negative. One thing you need to do is put a diode in-line, cathode (stripe side) facing the vehicles parking lights.
