I purchased a new 479 (second release remote with P button). How do I program the vibrate/beep, backlight on/off, page mode on/off functions of the remote. My install guide (published 2003) does not mention these functions. The brain is an 881xp. Thx.

it's in the owners manual, not the install guide...... press the P button until you get one long beep and then each of the buttons on the remote changes one feature, unlock changes display illum on/off, etc, etc......
