I am almost finished installing a compustar 8000fm 2 way on an 06 ranger, alarm will lock/unlock doors with key in run position but will only unlock in off position, I think the gem needs a second pulse but i am not sure how to do it,

I can lock the doors but they keep unlocking by them selfs, I wired up blue to pink / YELLOW and blue/blk to pink/ lt green at the plugs in the pass kick panel, Also i have an Omega IB-F3 transponder bypass kit hooked up, I can program it ok and start the truck fine, but then it quits working after one try and i get the theft light flashing until i reprogram it again,

Double unlock pulse the yel/black wire.. either in the door boot or way up in the dash as for your bypass not working... These pats systems can be funky.. Im not framiliar at all with omega bypasses... ring around the ign??? or bury a key???? anyway if ya cant get it to work try one of these bypasskits.com XK04 firmware pkford 2.0 this wire directly into the pats harness and works great!...

The omega bypass that I am using dosn't require a key, i did some searching for just the word omega and might have found the problem, the red wire is to be wired to ignition while remote started, I don't think its hooked up that way now, I will try these things as soon as I can probably this weekend, thanks guys for the help,

Frank

Thanks for the help, I followed the diagram and the locks have worked ever since as planned so far, the problem I am having with the transponder bypass is that it is the wrong one for my truck, I had it laying around from an F-150 that i wound up selling and just figured it would work on my new ranger but i guess not,
