Hello all, I have just installed a Ct-3300 in my 1999 F250 and everything works okay except I have a constant 12 volts on the yellow park lamp wire and when hooked up the lights are always on causing a dead battery. Should there always be power to this wire or is there a problem with the module? Any suggestions on fixing this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't have 12 volts on the yellow wire from the remote starter unless the parking lights are on either from the starter or the truck. Check that the wire you hooked into is the brown parking light wire in the truck.

There are 2 brown wires at the switch and both have 12 volts when the lights are on however the yellow module wire always has 12 volts on it. because the yellow wire has 12 volts on it the park lights are on no matter which brown wire I use.

You have a bad remote starter module then. If you can't get an exchange piece, your unit should have a negative parking light output, that if it is working correctly, you could use to trigger a relay to activate your parking lights. If the remote starter is old, you may have carbon build up on the relay contacts inside the module. The carbon deposits may be causing the relay contacts to stick together. It happens over time and use.
