Hey guys,

I am doing a wiper protection on a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. I am looking for the wiper wire. Any infomation on the colour, location...etc. is much appreciated. Thanks guys.

Wipers pink (L), dk. blue/white (H) - steering column

This wire will test when the wipers are turned on. There may be separate wires for each wiper speed.

NOTE this is for an 2003 i dont have info on a 2001 see if this helps!!!!

For future reference.

Thanks again guys for the info. above. I couldn't find the correct wiper wire against the above post. However, if you trying to do a wiper protection for this vehicle. All you have to do is power up the Accessory 1 - Orange wire. Accessory 2 - Brown is not necessary. Wiper will not activate unless the Brown Accessory 2 wire is power up.
