I can't seem to find the power lock and unlock on the accord. The tech sheet calls for orange for unlock and BLACK/ blue for lock but when I tests it with a DMM it doesn't show the neg. pulse when I push the lock / unlock button.  Is that the correct wire cause it shows constant power regardless I push the lock/unlock button.

I am trying to install a viper 550 on the car

One more thing I'm adding a trunk pop on the dei and I have the relay for it

How do u hook this up and what channel will it operate on the remote?

How do u hook up the wire of the  555u on the alarm?

Thanks

DEI's tech sheets suck sometimes.  They don't feel like telling you this for some reason, but those lock/unlock wires are coming from the passenger door key cylinder, not the rocker switch.  Stick the key into the passenger door and twist it back and forth while you test.  I can tell you that the wires are in a wide, rectangular green plug, close to the forward edge of the passenger fuse box----they're a little tight, but you'll be able to get 'em if you're patient.

The WHITE/ red trunk release wire can be found in one of the larger plugs coming out of the driver's fuse box.  You can get brake and parking lights in the other plugs there too.  What do you need to know about doing the trunk release?  There are numerous relay guides on this site, and the Viper's install manual will also include a schematic.

The 550 has two auxilary outputs I believe----one is in the main harness with the door and trunk trigger wires, and it's used by pressing the AUX button on the remote.  The other output is in like a small green three-pin plug, and it's used by pressing AUX and PANIC at the same time.  This output can also be re-programmed to behave in all sorts of cool ways.  You should use the output that's in the main harness for the trunk release--------save the extra output for cool stuff later, like turning the lights on and off or whatever.

The 555U also has pretty clear instructions----what do you need to know about it?

the blue wire . ( - ) status output from remote start.  Does that mean ground that wire?  One more thing,  what about the factory disarm wire ?  Where can I find that wire in the car and how do I connect this wire? Do I need a relay for that?

Thanks again
